The forestry plantation market remains strong with very high activity levels. The lower timber prices we have seen over the last year have had little or no impact on plantation prices. However, for the first time in a long time, there seems to be plenty of choice for buyers (more than 30 woods available in Scotland) and some indications that the pace of increase in woodland values may be slowing.
