Rapidly changing seed issues are having an impact on the food industry. Recent issues (and opportunities) have made the need for communications between the seed and food industries more critical than ever, says Ted McKinney, industry relations leaderfor Dow AgroSciences. He will moderate a panel of individuals from the food industry to discuss these issues during ASTA's annual convention. The goal of this session is to provide a forum in which the food industry representatives can first share observations and then respond to questions from the seed industry. In fact, the panel is entitled "Things You Always Wanted To Know From Food Companies, But Were Afraid To Ask." McKinney looks forward to a candid, honest exchange not only about biotechnologybut crop protection product and seed treatment issues, as well.
