摘要

Lung vessel detection has been an important and difficult work, therefore, a new 3D lung vessel detection scheme based on CT sensor-array signal is proposed in this paper. Existing active contour models only contain image region or object edge property, but this scheme can combine them simultaneously. Firstly, it locate interior and exterior homogeneous region of vessel. Secondly, in order to converge to vessel edge accurately, it make surface evolve along the second order derivative in the image gradient direction. Thirdly, based on the above steps, the geometric model is constructed. Finally, the scheme employ level set method for solving the energy optimization problem. The test results on multiple-series lung CT image show that this scheme is accurate and fast and has high adaptability to background noise.
