National Research Centre for Cashew (NRCC), Puttur being an apex institute for research on Cashew, is also responsible for the extension activities, which are, aimed at transferring the latest technologies on Cashew to the farmers. One of such extension activities of NRCC is providing technical advice related to the problems, enquiries and doubts raised on various cashew cultivation aspects by the clients either through letters or e-mail. The various clients viz., cashew farmers, association for farmers, Non-Governmental Organizations, Private organizations related to cashew, Government development departments and Government owned plantation corporations are being provided with technical advice based on their enquiries. An attempt has been made to analyse these enquiries with the following objectives: 1. To analyse the enquiries on cashew production technology from various clientele groups towards technical advice. 2. To prepare readymade literature to be used for technical advice, based on the analysis.
