Fugro-Rovtech (Aberdeen,Scotland) is due to take delivery of the first of the new generation work-class remotely operated vehicle (ROV) systems that are being designed and built in-house by Fugro at the company's Singapore facility.These new ROV systems are depth-rated to 1,000 (the FCV 1000) and 3,000 meters (the FCV 3000),and are designed to utilize the latest advances in remote technology,especially in the areas of sensor data transmission,data time-stamping and telemetry.
