Theconstellations of each season take their turns on thesky's stage — or so say our pattern-making minds.° 11;We delineate and demarcate time and space, divid-ing them into handy segments. But time and space aremore fluid than that. What we call a year flows continu-ously into its successor. And what we call a season'sconstellations are, by convention, those best seen inthat season during evening, the only time of nightwhen most of us are awake
