Of the four dwarf planets now recognized in the outer solar system, Pluto, Eris, and Haumea all have at least one moon. The fourth, Makemake, seemed to be the "odd dwarf out." Astronomers used the Hubble Space Telescope to search for companions in 2006 but turned up noth-ing. Now they've turned up "something."
