摘要

The rapid advances in Information Technology have great impact on all sections of library including its operations as well as services. It has revolutionized the modes of accessing and disseminating information through Internet and World Wide Web. The PGIMER library is also not remaining untouched of its impact. It has transformed the library to modern Hi-Tech library with all its automated operations, e-services and online collections of e-resources. E-resources are very beneficial because of easy and quick access. Moreover, it can be accessed without any restriction to place and time. E-resources are very common in all research libraries but their maximum use and management is a matter of concern today.
