An experience of the joint-stock company ofZDAS with introduction of an equipment for heating of liquidmetal and vacuum metallurgy are given. Use of an arc furnaceand a ladle one is effective if the melting time in the arc furnaceis substantially shortened. Hydrogen and nitrogen contentsduring treatment of steel in an electric resistance furnacedecreased and metallographic purity of steel after treatment in asecondary metallurgy equipment was evaluated.
