Crude flows on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (Taps) may drop far enough by next winter that ice accumulations jeopardise the reliability of the only link to global markets for BP's Prudhoe Bay oil field, the largest in the US.And BP's decision in June to shelve its offshore Liberty project dims prospects for ending steady declines in shipments on the conduit.
