In the May 4 Federal Register (77FR 26477), EPA issued a notice announcing that Loveland Products, Inc., Greeley, Colo., has filed a pesticide petition proposing that §180.590 be amended by extending for three years the current effective date of May 18 for the existing time-limited tolerances for residues of the biochemical pesticide 2,6-diisopropylnaphthalene(2,6-DIPN) and its metabolites and degradates resulting from post-harvest application, in or on the following: 1.fat of cattle, goat, hog, horse and sheep at 1.0 ppm; 2.liver of cattle, goat, hog, horse and sheep at 0.5 ppm; 3.meat of cattle, goat, hog, horse and sheep at 0.2 ppm; 4.meat byproducts of cattle, goat, hog, horse and sheep at 0.4 ppm; 5.milk, fat at 0.5 ppm; 6.potato, granules/flakes at 5.5 ppm; 7.potato, peel at 6.0 ppm; and 8.potato, whole at 2.0 ppm.
