Europe's inability to freely source soybeans and corn from North and South America,as a result of the European Union's hesitancy over biotechnology,is costing the EU livestock industry more than 2.5 billion euros(equal to 3.4 billion)annually,three European grain,feed and livestock trade associations have warned in a joint statement.
