EPA issued a notice in the Aug.31 Federal Register (70 FR 51790) announcing the availability of the human health risk assessment,ecological risk assessments and related documents for the synthetic pyrethroid insecticide permethrin.EPA intends to develop a Reregistration Eligibility Decision for permethrin through a modified,4-phase public participation process the agency uses to involve the public in developing pesticide reregistration and tolerance reassessment decisions to ensure that all pesticides meet current health and safety standards.
