Unless grower groups and registrant FMC can successfully challenge EPA's revocation of all carbofuran tolerances, farmers are set to lose the insecticide at the end of the year. And while never happy with losing a tool from their pest-fighting arsenal, growers seem more concerned with the precedent EPA has set by revoking the tolerances of the insecticide before canceling its uses.
