On Jan.14(74 FR 2070),EPA issued a notice announcing that the agency has received an application from Macintosh and Associates,Inc.,St.Paul,Minn.,(on behalf of Pasteuria Bioscience,Inc.,Alachua,Fla.)requesting an experimental use permit for use of the microbial nematicide Pasteuria usgae on 385 acres of strawberries and turf grasses in certain counties in Alabama,Georgia,Mississippi and North Carolina.There are FTFRA registrations currently pending for Pasteuria usgae as a manufacturing use product and an end-use product.
