Ltd.—Yoshinori Setoyama, currently managing officer, and chief operating officer of the first chemicals business unit, has been appointed executive managing officer of the company and chief operating officer of the basic chemicals unit, effective 1 Apr. Susumu Uneno has been named managing officer of Mitsui and chief operating officer of the performance chemicals business unit, effective 1 Apr. Uneno is presently deputy chief operating officer of the second chemicals business unit.
