Akzo Nobel-Ton Buchner, most recently president and chief executive of Sulzer AG, has been appointed chief executive of Akzo Nobel, pending approval at the annual general meeting (AGM). He will succeed Hans Wijers, who has decided to "step down" with effect from the AGM 2012.CF Industries-Russell A. Holowachuk has been promoted to the position of vice president of environmental health and safety and engineering. He had been vice president and general manager.
