Prague-Unipetrol last week said its Litvinov ethylene unit in the Czech Republic is now operating at full capacity, following the successful installation of its cooling system. Last October, the company reported a "serious defect" in the PA 701 cooling system during the start-up of the ethylene facility after a scheduled shutdown (PCN, 5 Nov 07, p 1).
