Doha-Qatar Fertiliser Co. (Qafco) has included ammonia storage capacity in its Qafco 5 expansion project at Mesaieed, Qatar (PCN, 10 Dec 07, p 4). Qafco, a joint venture owned 75% by Industries Qatar and 25% by Yara International, has awarded CB&I a contract to engineer, fabricate and build two 50,000-ton ammonia storage tanks. CB&I said its contract calls for completion in 2010.
