Most recently senior vice president for planning and specialty chemicals, he succeeds Raymond I. Wilcox, who has retired. MEGlobal-Bob Brandt has been appointed vice president of manufacturing for this joint venture between Dow Chemical Co. and Petrochemical Industries Co. of Kuwait, effective 1 May. Brandt, currently production leader for Dow's Plaquemine, La., ethylene oxide (EO) operations, will assume responsibility for MEGlobal's EO and ethylene glycol production facilities in Alberta, Canada.
