LyondellBasell Industries-Kent Potter is joining the company as chief financial officer, effective 1 Aug. Most recently a petrochemical industry consultant, he will succeed Alan Bigman, who is being offered the opportunity to continue assisting in the company's Chapter 11 restructuring activities (PCN, 13 Apr 09, p 1).
