LyondellBasell Industries-Ed Dineen has been appointed chief operating officer, effective immediately. He had been president of the company's Chemicals Division, responsible for LyondellBasell's worldwide chemical operations. BASF-Laurent Tainturier has been appointed president of BASF Canada. He will also manage BASF Canada's internal business support groups, including communications, legal, finance and logistics.
