IRPC Pic—Sahaschai Panichapong, most recently senior executive vice president for the Petrochemical & Refinery business unit, has been appointed acting chief executive, replacing Pailin Chuchottaworn, who was recently named chief executive and president of PTT (PCN, 6 June 2011, p 2). Formosa Petrochemical Corp.—Chen Bao-lang, former chairman of Kuokuang Petrochemical Technology Co., has been named chairman to succeed Wilfred Wang, who has announced his decision to step down (PCN, 8 Aug 2011, p 4).
