Abu Dhabi-Taiwan's Chinese Petroleum Corp.(CPC)and Abu Dhabi National Oil Co.(Adnoc)plan to establish a 1-billion joint venture for the production of petrochemicals in Abu Dhabi."We are doing a feasibility study on this...and will sign an agreement in one or two months,"reported local sources quoting Pan Wenent,chairman of CPC.He noted that the plan,for which he gave no specific details,is part of CPC's goal to expand its production base.
