Steady solitons described by the general higher-order extended Ginzburg-Landau equation with fourth order dispersion are studied in this paper. Conditions of the existence and stability of the model parameters of a general chirped solitonlike pulse are analyzed. Numerical evolution of the pulse's existence and stability are studied under a typical example to verify our analysis.
