摘要

The area under the glow curve (no thermal quenching and same dose) is conserved only in thermoluminescence (TL)-time plots and should not be conserved in TL-temperature plots. Further for the same heating rate, the glow peak height has to be the same in time as well as in temperature plots for a given dose and the glow peak height will increase with the increase of the heating rate. However, to conserve area in TL-temperature plots, the TL intensity should be divided by the respective heating rate and this will lead to the decrease of glow peak height in TL/beta-temperature plots, which is the artifact of the normalization process.
