摘要

The idea of the hole burning phenomena in the field of light absorption has been extended. Piezoelectric particles absorb rf electric field through their resonant oscillation and the absorption spectrum of particles with slightly different resonance frequencies spreads wide and moderately. The oscillation characteristics in a narrow frequency region of their absorption spectrum are changed by rf electric field with large amplitude, which we call phonon hole burning. We conducted experiments at liquid nitrogen temperature to verify our deformation model for the phonon hole burning, which relates crystal dislocations with change of particle oscillation. We detected holes and found that the obtained results were well described by our model.
