摘要

A wide interest subject in radioprotection is the issue of radon becauseit represents over 50% of natural radiation dose received by the population. Radon gasis an odorless, colorless, whose physical and chemical properties allow it to migrate toconsiderable distances. Besides other factors influencing soil radon concentration, theconcentration and distribution of radon in soil parents have been found to be mostdominant. Measurements of concentrations of radon (~(222)R~n) ) in Cluj-Napoca have highlighted regional variations, around the Somes River. The concentrations of radonfound with the LUK3C detector varies between 1186 kBq/m3 and 55.84 kBq/m~3.These variations have increasing or decreasing trends, once approaching the Somes,emphasizing indirect influence of the Somes River.
