摘要

The objective of this report is to provide a review of earthquake vibratory ground motion intensity-distance-attenuation relationships which depicts the evolution and limitations of currently used procedures. Two general procedures are considered;one procedure relates peak horizontal ground acceleration,earthquake magnitude,and distance,and the other relates epicentral Modified Mercalli Intensity (MMI),distance,and attenuated MMI. A conversion relatiohsip between MMI and peak horizontal ground acceleration is used with the latter. (ERA citation 04:044813)
