摘要

Emergency cervical cerclage in the second trimester of pregnancy. Emergency cervical cerclage is performed when there are cervical changes suggestive of cervical incompetence, in the second trimester of pregnancy. Regarding this practice, it seemed interesting to know what results are obtained in terms of complications, pregnancy outcomes, perinatal mortality and morbidity. A retrospective study, including 18 women who had an emergency cervical cerclage, from 2005 to 2011, was led at maternity of Port-Royal. One third of birth was stillborn. The main complication is chorioamnionitis, which is associated systematically with pregnancies resulting in delivery before the viability term or preterm deliveries. However, there is no neonatal mortality. Neonatal morbidity was related only to preterm deliveries since no maternal-fetal infection was found
