The present invention is a pepper leaf harvested by repeatedly fertilizing zinc sulfate fertilizer diluted with respect to a pepper crop, and the zinc content of the pepper leaf is strengthened to 10 to 30 mg/100 g by repeated fertilization of the zinc sulfate fertilizer. The pepper leaf is intended to be used for improving blood sugar, and it is characterized in that the high concentration calcium contained in the pepper leaf is simultaneously absorbed with the zinc to be used for improving blood sugar.
