An electronic device, a personal cloud device, a personal cloud system, and a method for registering a personal cloud device thereof are provided. In the method of registering a personal cloud device of the electronic device, when a preset application is executed, a pairing operation with a personal cloud device is performed, and the personal cloud device is obtained by obtaining information of an access point to connect the personal cloud device to a network. The personal cloud device registers with the registration server when the personal cloud device is connected to the network through an access point. As a result, the user may upload or download various contents by using a personal cloud device in the home or outside.
