An electronic device, a personal cloud device, a personal cloud system, and a method for registering personal cloud devices thereof are provided. The method for registering a personal cloud device of an electronic device performs a pairing operation with the personal cloud device when a preset application is executed, obtains and transmits information on an access point to the personal cloud device in order to connect the personal cloud device to a network, and registers the personal cloud device with a registration server when the personal cloud device is connected to the network through the access point. Accordingly, a user can upload or download various content using a personal cloud device in the home or outside.
