Disclosed are an investment value index and company value evaluation method and a system thereof. The method for evaluating the value of a company, which is executed by a computer, comprises the steps of: calculating a technology value index by analyzing the value of technology assets held by a specific company based on a market value of an industry group to which a technology belongs (external market value), a technology value from the perspective of a technology value chain in an industry (internal value of technology), changes in the technology value over time in a market (industry life cycle value) and the importance of the technology from an intellectual property perspective (technology network value), with respect to an industry group to which a company belongs, a product corresponding to the company, the technology related to the product, and big data linking the company; and calculating a technology-based company value evaluation index (TVI index) obtained by evaluating the value of the technology assets held by the specific company based on the calculated technology value index.
