The present invention relates to a method for redefining a location of a robot by using artificial intelligence, and the robot. The robot for redefining a location by using artificial intelligence according to an embodiment of the present invention stores a map by distinguishing an accessible area and an inaccessible area in a space where the robot moves, and stores a locating post necessary for the robot to restore the location.
