The present invention relates to a method for redefining the position of a robot using artificial intelligence and a robot. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the robot which redefines the position using artificial intelligence divides an accessible area and an inaccessible area in a space in which the robot moves, stores the areas as a map, and stores a locating post required to recover the position.
