The present application relates to production of a novel spongy Au/g-3N4 composite electrochemical sensor. A gold nanoparticle has excellent electro-catalytic performance, and a spongy composite is obtained by means of joint backflow with graphite-phase carbon nitride, where the electrical conductivity of the composite is significantly improved while an electrochemical behavior of chloramphenicol is well promoted. By means of electrochemical characterization, it is found that a spongy gold/carbon nitride composite has excellent catalytic performance on chloramphenicol, has a wide detection range, and thus has promising application in detecting chloramphenicol residues in food.
