The present invention relates to a tsunami forecast method using a numerical model which can be named as a scientific interpolation for a natural disaster (SIND) to operate a numerical model by setting a reference point (10) in a sea area and assuming a virtual tidal wave under various conditions propagated from the reference point (10), to calculate only a simulation tsunami condition at the reference point (10) without performing a numerical simulation on the entire sea area and the entire terrestrial area when a tsunami actually occurs after building a boat swamped by waves in a terrestrial area calculated by each condition as a scenario database, and to extract the nearest boat swamped by waves from the scenario database by comparing the simulation tsunami condition with a virtual tidal wave condition or to interpolate the simulation tsunami condition to draw a boat swamped by waves as a method for drawing a forecast value based on previously built information without actually simulating a physical phenomenon for analyzing a natural disaster. According to the present invention, the method can predict flood damage to a target terrestrial area with considerable precision only by simulating a partial sea area without simulating the entire sea area and the entire territorial area, thereby promptly alerting and proactively responding to the tsunami when the tsunami occurs so as to reduce damage.
