PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to easily perform picking work regardless of the experience or the like of the operator.SOLUTION: A picking operation support system 100 specifies second encrypted information corresponding to first encrypted information belonging to a bar code 4 attached to the next container 1 to be picked by an operator 2, transmits an operation instruction signal for making a visually recognizable specific movement to a beacon 10 attached with a two-dimensional code having the specified second encrypted information, automatically acquiring an identification signal when a communication part of a portable terminal 20 comes into a prescribed range, and determines whether first encrypted information corresponding to third encrypted information having the identification signal coincides with the first encrypted information belonging to the bar code 4 attached to the next container 1 to be picked by the operator 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
