The present invention relates to a credit account that is established to a trader. A credit limit variable is defined to the credit account.An indication is received that the dealer has accepted a transaction payment account to be charged to the payment account of a customer.An amount of the transaction may be associated with the transaction of the payment account.The indication may also indicate that the transaction of the payment account is authorized by an issuer of the payment account of the customer.There may be a response in real time to the indication to increase instantly the credit limit variable to the credit account of the merchant for a value that corresponds to the value of the transaction.
