Provided are a composition for specifically exciting GABAergic neurons in the nucleus accumbens and the use thereof in improving abnormal schizophrenic behaviours. The composition comprises a viral vector carrying a light-sensitive gene for infecting GABAergic neurons in the nucleus accumbens and an irradiation device capable of generating blue light, wherein the viral vector comprises a Syn promoter, a light sensation gene and a green fluorescence labelling gene.
