Provided are a router cluster upgrade system, method and apparatus. The system comprises: a main master control single board, machine frames and a central exchange single board, wherein the machine frames comprise: a single board to be upgraded; the main master control single board is used for receiving an upgrade request of a router cluster and sending the upgrade request to the central exchange single board; the central exchange single board is used for acquiring information about the single board to be upgraded of various machine frames of the router cluster under the trigger of the upgrade request, and according to the information about the single board to be upgraded, sending an upgraded version corresponding to the information about the single board to be upgraded to the single board to be upgraded corresponding to the information about the single board to be upgraded; and the single board to be upgraded is used for receiving the upgraded version sent by the central exchange single board and performing upgrading according to the upgraded version. The problem that the upgrade of a router device in a router cluster is time-consuming and inefficient in the relevant art is solved, thereby improving the upgrade efficiency of the router cluster.
