PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute restoration processing on the basis of an association relation among proper characteristic points.SOLUTION: A camera position pose estimation device 100 is configured to: associate a plurality of first characteristic points included in a key frame with a plurality of second characteristic points included in a photograph image taken by a camera; calculate an image association vector on the basis of an amount of characteristic of the first characteristic point, and an amount of characteristic of the second characteristic point as to each set of the associated first characteristic point and second characteristic point; determine whether the association of the first characteristic point with the second characteristic point is properly conducted on the basis of a distribution of a plurality of image association vectors; and, when it is determined that the association of the first characteristic point with the second characteristic point is not properly conducted, control so as not to conduct processing of estimating a position pose of the camera.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
