Anopheles mosquitoes free of contamination with microorganisms, developed in a sterile environment, where mosquitoes develop from eggs with the sterilized surface and are provided with filtered air, sterile water and sterile nutrition appropriate for the stage of development during metamorphosis from egg to adult, where these mosquitoes, after reaching maturity, are infected with Plasmodium parasites, where the infection is the result of feeding the mosquitoes with a sterile food based on blood from infectious gametocytes from a blood-based food feed station; wherein said parasites are selected from the group consisting of P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale, and R. malariae; and where Plasmodium sporozoites can be obtained from mosquitoes and where said Plasmodium sporozoites are suitable for the production of a vaccine for use in humans.
