Device, useful for treating asbestos in e.g. industrial site, comprises a unit for introducing asbestos into tank, a unit for introducing the treatment solution into the tank, and a unit for recovering the asbestos treated in the tank
The device comprises: a tank (3) for impregnating an asbestos with a treatment solution; a unit (2) for introducing asbestos into the tank; a unit for introducing the treatment solution into the tank; a unit (5) for recovering the asbestos treated in the tank; a unit (4) for draining the impregnated asbestos; and a unit for drying and heat treating the drained asbestos. The tank is equipped with a unit for agitating its contents. The device further comprises: a unit (1) for crushing and/or cutting asbestos placed upstream the tank; and a unit for pressing the impregnated asbestos. The device comprises: a tank (3) for impregnating an asbestos with a treatment solution; a unit (2) for introducing asbestos into the tank; a unit for introducing the treatment solution into the tank; a unit (5) for recovering the asbestos treated in the tank; a unit (4) for draining the impregnated asbestos; and a unit for drying and heat treating the drained asbestos. The tank is equipped with a unit for agitating its contents. The device further comprises: a unit (1) for crushing and/or cutting asbestos placed upstream the tank; a unit for pressing the impregnated asbestos; and a mobile unit for storage of the asbestos, which is introduced into the unit for drying and heat treating. The crushing and/or cutting unit is connected to the introduction unit. The crushing and/or cutting unit comprises a blade mill, a hammer mill, a roll mill and a mill crusher tooth. The pressing unit is a screw press or a press with plate. The unit for drying and heat treating is a static oven or a revolving kiln. The mobile storage unit is a mobile storeroom.
