Synthetic aperture radar method for remote sensing of surface of earth through radar system, involves generating sub-pulses in respective pulse repetition interval such that sub-pulses have different, non-overlapping frequency ranges
The method involves transmitting radar pulses by a transmitting device (2) and receiving radar echoes by a reception device in successive pulse repetition intervals (PRI). Several radar pulses are emitted in the form of sub-pulses (SP1-SPN) in continuous transmission time interval of pulse repetition intervals. The sub-pulses are generated in respective pulse repetition interval such that sub-pulses have different, non-overlapping frequency ranges (FR1-FRN) and the received radar echoes are subjected to different frequency ranges for evaluation of band-pass filter. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a synthetic aperture radar device for remote sensing of surface of earth; and (2) a synthetic aperture radar system.
