The ultrasonic-flowmeter has an ultrasonic transducer (Piezo), which is arranged on a measuring tube and comprises an ultrasonic vibrator. A measuring circuit is connected to the ultrasonic transducer via a connecting line. A temperature sensor is made of a temperature-dependent measuring element (R-therm), a series resistor (R-Schutz) to limit the power supply to the temperature-dependent measuring element and a limiting circuit comprising two electrical components to limit the power supply to the temperature-dependent measuring element.
