The present invention relates to natural extract having nicotine-like activities and a composition for assisting smoking cessation using the same. The present invention relates to natural extract converting nicotine into cotinine and a composition for assisting smoking cessation using the same. Preferably, extract of tobacco petals converts nicotine accumulated in the body due to smoking into cotinine, in which toxicity is reduced in the body. Objects of the present invention includes extract of tobacco petals and a composition thereof, and gum, patches, aerosol, tablets and capsule compositions for assisting smoking cessation using the same.
