PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar simulator that measures a characteristic of a multi-junction solar cell in a short time, and a method for measuring a multi-junction solar cell therewith.;SOLUTION: The method for measuring a multi-junction solar cell includes the steps of: emitting flash light from a halogen lamp 13 and controlling a pulse waveform to a flat top portion; emitting flash light from a xenon lamp 14 once or more in a pulse flat at a top portion of a pulse waveform and shorter than the flat portion of the flash light from the halogen lamp in the duration of the flat top portion of the pulse waveform of the flash light from the halogen lamp; and radiating the flash light from the halogen lamp and xenon lamp to a solar cell 20 as an object to be measured, and during the emission of the flash light from the xenon lamp, controlling a load on the solar cell and measuring a current and a voltage output from the solar cell at one or more points.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
