Nacelle for use in downwind turbine rotor of small wind turbine, has housing whose diameter is greater in central region and smaller on windward and leeward sides, where diameter on leeward side is greater than diameter on windward side
The nacelle (1) has a housing (5) with flow control function for increasing flow rate in a wind direction (Z) of a rotor. The geometry of the housing corresponds to longitudinal axis (Y) of the nacelle when the housing is rotated by a spline function related to vase-shaped body. The diameter of housing is greater in a central region, and diameters (d2, d3) are smaller on windward side (9) and on leeward side (3), where the diameter on the leeward side is greater than the diameter on the windward side.
